Wow, what an interesting year it’s been! And it’s no exception here at FHP Living in West Bridgford. It’s been busy, busy, busy and with no signs of letting up any time soon.
One of the great things about my job is helping people, and with over 100 properties let over the past 12 months and 40 more managed properties than the 55 we had this time last year, that’s a lot of very happy people we helped to move into their beautiful new homes.
The exciting new Bridgford Place development gained us five new instructions between £750 and £950pcm and we successfully rented them to new tenants within an amazing 2 weeks of initial marketing! And over 80% of the exclusive Waterside development were let, with their lucky new occupants moving in just 6 weeks after the building was completed. In spite of its many challenges, 2020 has, however, seen an extremely high demand for us at FHP Living in West Bridgford, especially for new-build properties designed and finished to our clients’ high standards. We are extremely excited about the many new developments on the horizon, such as Trent Bridge Quays with its superb 1- and 2-bedroom apartments.
While bricks and mortar and very important, we never lose sight of the people – the people we help to start a new journey in a new home. And during the last 12 months it’s never been more important to help those most in need. And when our wonderful NHS frontline heroes need a little help, we’re first in the queue to go that extra mile. Just one example of this happened earlier in the year. We helped a newly appointed nurse at the QMC find the perfect new home and even made the moving-in process a little easier by rolling up our sleeves (all government guidelines observed) and lending a hand.
We are now looking forward to a positive and exciting 2021, a year in which we can grow our business and help even more people achieve their dreams along the way.
