FHP Living has put a smile on Nottingham stalwart Mich Stevenson’s face after agreeing a sale on his country home.

Fiskerton House had previously been listed for sale with different estate agents but it was not until Mr Stevenson turned to FHP Living earlier this year that the offers came flooding in.

Mr Stevenson said: “Our house had been on the market for some time before we decided to instruct Steve Parker at  FHP Living, and we could not have been more satisfied with the service we received.

“We felt that Steve’s passion, enthusiasm and efficiency, together with their marketing strategy, made sure that the interest in the property was successfully converted into multiple offers – one of which we were happy to accept.”

The six-bedroom country home is located alongside the River Trent and includes some 1.3 acres of stunning gardens and mature grounds, as well as a number of outbuildings and a double garage.

A former manor house, Fiskerton House retained a number of original period features combined with modern additions such as discreet solar panels. The property also benefits from mooring and fishing rights.

Steve Parker, associate director at FHP Living, said: “Mich came to us after a lengthy period on the market with other estate agents, and we were thrilled to take on such a stunning countryside property.

“Fiskerton House is an incredibly impressive family home set over a very generous plot with lovely views over the River Trent, so we weren’t surprised at all that it generated a great deal of interest.

“Our Distinctive Homes team are experts in marketing and securing sales on properties priced at £500,000 or more so we were in a perfect position to sell this beautiful property.”

FHP Living received multiple offers on the property before selling for the asking price of £1 million.
