FHP Living Safety Plan: How we Make our Workplace & Community COVID Safe

With Nottingham and Nottinghamshire having been placed into the ‘high alert’ level for COVID-19 restrictions, keeping our community safe and well is a responsibility we all share. At FHP, we have taken our social role to minimise the spread of COVID-19 very seriously.

Accordingly, from the moment that the first cases of coronavirus were announced in our local community, we developed a preparedness plan to safely manage our viewings and appointments and took energetic steps to prevent any infections. Similarly, as soon as the government announced the easing of lockdown measures, we started crafting a reopening strategy to ensure our West Bridgford and Weekday Cross offices are well-equipped, and our team fully prepared to safely deliver the full range of property services we specialise in.

Adhering to our proactive stance, today we feel even stronger and have the confidence to meet your property needs, whilst controlling the infection risk. In line with the new tighter restrictions that came into force on Wednesday 14th of October, we have taken all necessary precautions to provide our valued employees and clients with the utmost protection.

Please find below the key measures we have taken to ensure the safety and peace of mind of the FHP community, including our employees and their families, our clients and visitors.

 

✓ We continue to offer video meetings, online market appraisals and virtual tours of our available properties in an effort to eliminate in-person visits.

✓ However, our clients are always welcome to visit our offices, should they want to, provided that they have booked an appointment in advance. This will enable us to keep the number of visitors as low as possible and ensure that social-distancing protocols are being followed. Please do not feel un-welcomed if we don’t greet you with a handshake – our smile is still here for you under this mask and we are ready to assist you in any way possible!

✓ On entering our offices, our clients are expected to bring and wear their own mask. The same rule applies to our agents, who have been provided with PPE and cleaning equipment in line with government guidance.

✓ When a viewing in person is required, a risk assessment of the property will be taken prior to the visit and a maximum of two people from the same household are allowed to attend the inspection. Also, our clients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire with regards to Covid-19.

✓ The 2m social distancing policy will be observed during the viewing and current occupants will be asked to wait outside. Once the viewing has finished, discussions with regards to the property will be conducted outside the property.
