FHP Living makes a splash with Waterside Living
NOTTINGHAMSHIRE estate agency FHP Living is leading the way as waterside living is set to become the next hot move in the city’s property scene.
The firm has been appointed to market a number of significant riverside schemes in the city, which has promoted the introduction of a new brand – FHP Waterside Living.
This is the latest addition to FHP Living’s portfolio and will deal with instructions for desirable riverside areas – starting with six penthouse apartments at the popular River Crescent scheme in Colwick.
David Hargreaves, managing director at FHP Living, said: “We have been advising developers on their plans for the development of residential accommodation on the banks of the River Trent for the past two to three years and are now seeing this effort start to bear fruit.
“Waterside living is becoming extremely popular in the UK, with the premium for properties some 70% above that of inland homes according to figures released by Knight Frank earlier this month. It’s not something Nottingham has yet exploited to the full, but the city’s appetite for waterfront living is tangible.”
FHP Living has been appointed as joint agents to market six penthouse apartments at the popular River Crescent scheme in Colwick and is advising on the adjacent Park Yacht Club site where there are plans for 82 apartments.
FHP Waterside Living will also be working with developer Blueprint on its Trent Basin scheme, which has now started on site and Trent Bridge Quays, located opposite the City Ground, providing a mixture of houses and apartments.
Associate director at FHP Living, Steve Parker believes that Nottingham is ready to embrace riverside living. He said: “You only have to go down to the sites on a sunny day to see the attraction of waterside living, with many people prepared to pay a premium to do so.
“We are very excited about the schemes we are currently bringing to market and those which are set for the coming months – the city is crying out for waterside living and we are delighted to be involved with these significant developments.”
“All in all we will be involved in the sale of more than 400 residential units along the river over the next two to three years, which we expect to sell extremely quickly,” added David.
“The development of our FHP Waterside Living brand is a response to the evolution of waterside living within Nottingham and joins FHP Student Living, FHP City Living and Distinctive Homes by FHP Living.”
