In West Bridgford the most sought-after roads are Valley Road and Dovedale Rd and then slightly further out in Edwalton, they are Grange Road and Croft Road. These roads are popular due to their numerous semi-detached and detached properties that vary in size and scale – perfect for either young professionals or families. Both locations are also accessible to great local amenities and Nottingham city centre.

What are the transport links like to the city centre?

West Bridgford is closer to the City Centre and Nottingham Train Station than you think. Jump in the car and you will be over the Trent and in Nottingham in less than 10 minutes, while an Uber or Taxi will come in at around £7. There are also numerous bus connections that service most of West Bridgford and cost around £4 for a day ticket.

One of my favourite things to do is stroll around the Farmers Market, which takes over West Bridgford on the first Saturday of every month – perfect when followed up with a drink or two in Castle Rock’s Stratford Haven pub just off Central Avenue.
